Scripture warns, "let him who think he stands take heed lest he fall." In part 2 of this series on overcoming common temptations, pastor Mike Fritscher discusses the sin of pride! Pride says, "I will live my own way, do my own thing!" It's a life lived for self, and not for God! In fact, the proud person doesn't even think he needs God. But the consequence of pride is dishonor and destruction! In this study, we see pride's origin, it's consequence, but also the way of escape! The way of escape is to submit to God, to draw near to Him, and to be humble before God!

Submitting to God will provide the way of escape from the sin of pride!
