Praying Like Jesus, Pt 6

In this continuation of a study on the "High Priestly prayer" of Christ, Jesus prays in John 17, that we would be sanctified "in the truth. Your Word is truth." What does it mean to be sanctified? It means to be made holy, to be made like Christ, to possess the very character of God and Christ in our lives! Sanctification washes you, cleanses you, and takes away the old nature - the nature of lust, covetousness, greed, and anger. Walking in bitterness? Sexual impurity? God's deep desire is your sanctification!
