Praying Like Jesus, Pt 9

There is a deep desire in each of us for a sense of belonging. In the conclusion of this series on the prayer of Christ in John 17, Jesus prays: "I desire that they... be with me where I am." The desire of God is that you belong to Him! Christ prays everything else for us in John 17 so that this final request may be fulfilled in our lives! It is His desire that you be with Him forever! But He wants you right now, not just in Heaven some day! Yet what prevents us from being with Him? It's this "sin problem", the sin in our lives, our rebellion. God's arms are stretched out to receive you right now!

Do you belong to Christ?
He prayed for it, He paid for it!
